What a Day!

I know, I know, it's Monday and I'm supposed to post about my "Summer Dreams", but today I want to make a different post.

Today I want to tell you about a very special day.

On Saturday I've had the pleasure to meet

some wonderful ladies

in a wonderful setting.

You know when you spend a fantastic day and just can't stop thinking at every moment of it?

And maybe you smile while you're remembering...and people watch you like you are a little bit crazy!!

Well, that's how I feel!

On Saturday I met 8 incredibly bloggers.

Sweet Irene at Valdirose welcomes us all in her charming B&B.

She and her husband prepared the most enchanted pic nic I have ever been invited to! Every detail was perfect, the food and wine delicious and they both were so welcoming!


Valdirose is a fairy B&B on the hills near Florence; Irene decorated it with so much love! You can feel it in every single details!


A relaxed atmosphere, nice chats, laughs, kids playing in the garden, smiling faces and a strange, incredibly feeling.


I'm a reserved person and I was afraid not to be able to open my mouth and speak, but I found myself so comfortable with all of them!

And it was so strange! I read these women's blogs every day and on Saturday I finally met them all...and they are even more incredibly than how I imagined!
So sweet, simple and caring. I can't express by words exactly how I felt that day and how I feel every time I think about it; I only know that my heart makes a little jump and my eyes smile when I found myself lost in such wonderful memories!

But I've decided that for my bithday (which is near) probably I will ask my husband a new camera as a gift and I want to learn to use it!

I'm late, I'm late, I'm late....

This week is crazy! I have lots of things to do : I have to choose and order the tiles, the fireplace and the kitchen for my new house; I have a lot of work at the office, at home the mountain of the clothes to iron is every day bigger and bigger and I have absolutely no time for blogging!!!

I'm really sorry, I have to send lots of e-mails and to visit many of you wonderful ladies!!! Please forgive me, I hope to have more time after Friday to come and say hello to all of you.....I feel like I'm betraying some loyal friends not visiting your blogs....and I'm missing you!!!!

Happy 101 Blog Award!

My dear friend B at Not A Sparrow Falls gave me this award a week ago. Oh I'm so happy!!!! I'm new to blogging and this is just the second award I receive, it's a joy and a honour that B decided to pass it to me!

B is a sweet strong girl who has just seen her mum passing away because of breast cancer...she writes her blog to deal everyday with this big loss. She is very courageous person, so please stop by B and say hello, it will make her day!!

Blog Game - Photo # 6

My dear friend Zaira at Little Emma English Home inviteted me to partecipate to a funny blog game. I have to re-propose photo # 6 and remember the moment.

So, that's my photo # 6! I published it in my very first post. It was February and I was waiting to have the OK for beginning the building of my home.

At that time I had only the projects done and was looking for builders, carpenters, plumbers and so on. I was literally absorbed by that and had no time to think about the interiors!

But I decided to take some time just for me and to start the blog to keep a diary of all the interior design ideas I discover on line in order to collect all the tips I would like to realize for my home!
