L'estate è il momento giusto
per dare un mood "vacanziero" alle
nostre case! Basta decorare e creare
angoli con conchiglie, legno e un tocco
di turchese, et voilà! la sensazione
è quella di essere al mare!
Summer is the perfect time
to give our homes a holiday mood!
It's so simple: we just need shells,
driftwoods, a tuoch of tuoquoise et voilà!
we are at the sea!
Per cui oggi vi propongo
una carrellata di immagini in cui
il colore dominante è l'azzuro e il
sottofondo....le onde del mare!

Come molte di voi già sanno
io non sono una grande amante del mare,
o meglio, non amo le vacanze al mare d'agosto.
Non amo la spiaggia affollata, incasinata, rumorosa,
non amo il carnaio di gente appicciata ombrellone a
ombrellone, non amo le spiagge attrezzate con musica a
palla e che ti propongono in una sessione di 4 ore tutti gli sport
che d'inverno non hai avuto modo di praticare,
non amo rosolarmi al sole manco fossi una bistecca
sulla brace (e infatti sono bianca bianca, o peggio, quando vado in
montagna a fare trekking mi viene la classica
abbronzatura da "muraro" con le righe su braccia e gambe)
Però...
As many of you already know,
I'm not a big fan of the sea, or better,
I'm not a big fan of the August sea holidays.
I don't like the crowdy, noisy, messy beach,
I don't like to have people so near all around me,
I don't like the beaches where there's loud music
and where crazy fitness trainer try to make you do,
in just 4 hours, all the sports you haven't done
the winter, I don't like to take sun as I were a
steak on a grill (and, by the way, I'm white,
soooo white! or worst, when I go to trekking
in the mountains I usually come back with
a striped tan!)
But...
Però il mare di per sè non mi dispiace,
mi piace la spiaggia senza ombrelloni e senza lettini,
mi piace camminare sul bagnasciuga,
mi piace il suono delle onde,
mi piace il brilluccichio del sole sul mare...
But I do like the sea,
I like the beach withou beach umbrellas,
I like to walk on the stranda,
I like the sound of the waves,
I love the brightness of the sun over the sea...
E mi piace il color turchese!
Dà un tocco di freschezza e
serenità!
And I like the turquoise colour!
It gives a sensation of freshness
and serenity!
E questa piccola cucina?
Appena l'ho vista me ne sono innamorata!
E' proprio vero:
non occorre avere cucine grandi
per decorarle nel migliore dei modi,
anche uno spazio piccolo può
diventare un luogo di charme,
bastano pochi, accurati, gesti!
And this little kitchen?
I felt in love with it from the moment
I saw it!!
You don't need a big kitchen to
decorate it the way you want,
a small place can also become
a charmfull place with the right
touches!
